Trustee, Officer and Staff Code of Ethics

•  Follow the law at all times, without exception.

•  Be honest, fair and trustworthy in all Libra Foundation activities and relationships.

•  Dedicate sufficient time, energy and attention to ensure the diligent performance of our duties.

• Avoid engaging in any activity that might create a conflict of interest for the Foundation or for us individually.

• Follow all restrictions on use and disclosure of information.  This includes following all requirements for protecting Libra Foundation information and ensuring that non-Foundation proprietary information is used and disclosed only as authorized by the owner of the information, or as otherwise permitted by law.

• Never discriminate against anyone.

• Foster an atmosphere in which fair employment practices extend to every member of the Libra Foundation community.

• Never act unethically and work to sustain a culture in which ethical conduct is recognized, valued and exemplified by all employees.

• Never ask someone to act unethically.

• Seek assistance if there is a question regarding this Code of Ethics, or if an ethical dilemma arises.

• Report ethics violations and cooperate with any investigation of a possible ethics violation.

Foundation executives agree to abide by this Executive Officers’ Code of Ethics and consent to being held responsible for any breach of the Code.  Infractions may be met with disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.  Violations of this Code may also constitute breaches of the legal code and may result in civil and criminal penalties for the individual(s) responsible for such an infraction, that individual’s supervisors and/or Libra Foundation.

Although Libra Foundation expects all employees to abide by its general Code of Ethics (as outlined above), the leadership roles of the Foundation's executives necessitates a supplemental Executive Officers' Code of Ethics.
